Called in to schedule an oil change on my 2012 Volvo s60, they quoted me 280$ and they said that my second and 3rd oil change they don’t change the oil and they just changethe filter. What kind of sense does that make? so i’m doing 3 5000 mile intervals on the same oil? I asked if i could just get my OIL changed (not just the filter) every 5k miles like im used to, and they said “that’s not how we do business around here”. Seems like a total scam and makes no sense. Called Ulmers and they quoted me 100$.
Caleb, we would like to clear up a misunderstanding. We certainly would have been happy to perform a traditional oil and filter change every 5,000 miles if that was your preference. We were simply explaining our recommended maintenance program. We take pride in the quality of our work, the expertise of our technicians, and the level of service we provide.
