I don’t have experience with this shop in terms of repairs, but I will never take my MINI Cooper there because the employees act like jerks. There’s a busy coffee shop next door with very limited parking. As an Uber Eats driver, you have to park where you can, and my vehicle is rarely sitting more than five minutes. On a very busy Saturday morning, these Eurauto guys had their lot doors open. It’s clear it’s a private lot, and I considered quickly parking on the street, but that would have meant blocking their entrance, so I chose to go in their lot for a few minutes to be courteous. My blinkers were on, I have a European vehicle—I didn’t think I was disrupting anything or setting a precedent in any way. What did the employees at Eurauto do? They shut the doors to their lot with my car inside. I panicked thinking I was locked out until another gentleman unhooked the gate so he could get in. In the lot, a man was working on a car a few feet away from my vehicle, fully able to see the lights blinking. It’s very clear to me they saw that I was parked there and shut the gate on purpose just to be jerks. I would never recommend people who act like that for auto service. But I do highly recommend Kyle, Nick and the team at Cincinnati MINI/BMW if you have one of those vehicles. The prices might be slightly higher, but you get factory parts, loaner vehicles, tires with warranties. If something goes wrong they always make it right. I’ve had thousands of work comped through them—seriously good people there. I’d also highly recommend Hank’s Auto Body. It’s off the beaten path, but they did excellent work on my MINI. Kind and down-to-earth team with a slightly higher Google rating than the rude folks at Eurauto. I also had great luck with my Beetle at R&M in Mason. Good people and again, they have a higher rating than Eurato. While I haven’t used them personally, I’ve received decent quotes from Foreign Exchange in West Chester—better prices than going to a dealership directly, and good reviews. So I would also recommend checking them out over Eurauto. I understand protecting one’s parking and business, but I don’t get closing your gate on someone who’s trying to a five-minute pick up for a customer. And frankly, the shop owner needs to relocate if they can’t tolerate their own community members better than that. Life is too short to support businesses with an ego trip. There are a lot of shops doing the same work but better—I’d recommend exploring other options before choosing the jerks at Eurauto.
